4th International Conference on Advanced Optical Materials and Devices

Overview and venue

The conference is one of biennial SPIE/Baltic series, the last held in Riga. It will bring together people from the inside and outside of the Baltic region to discuss live issues in the field. On AOMD-4, the papers will be solicited concerning, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Theory of optical structures
  • Photonic crystals
  • Inorganic and organic optical materials (optoelectronic, electro-optic, photovoltaic, chromogenic, luminescent, ferroelectric)
  • Nonlinear optical materials
  • Display, holography, and optical computer materials
  • Nanoscale optical materials
  • Light emitting semiconductor nanostructures and devices
  • Photodetectors
  • Optical waveguides and fiber sensors
  • Clinical photonic diagnostics and treatment
  • Devices and methods in vision science

Oral (invited and contributed) and poster, 80 (width) × 100 (height) cm2, presentations will be included. The abstracts will be web and paper published. Full papers will appear in Proceedings of SPIE.

Conference fee is 180 Euros. The fee includes the participation in all scientific activities, conference material, abstract booklet, get-together reception, mid-session refreshments, four lunches, banquet, and excursions.
