Present actual fields
  • Corona and high frequency discharges, laser ablation
  • Plasma spectroscopy
  • Applications: laser induced plasma spectroscopy for surface diagnostics, flue gas cleaning by pulsed corona discharges

    Under my supervision have been defended seven PhD level studies. Starting from 1995 I have been the principal investigator of four grants of the Estonian Scientific Foundation.
    Sabbatical leaves: Uppsala University (Sweden), Eindhoven Technical University (the Netherlands), Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Masaryk University (Czech Republic), Institute of High Current Electronics (Russia).
